I teamed up once more with Double Dare Design and Point Ellice House to be the interpretive writer for Springs and Scavengers, an exhibit about the history of water, public sanitation (that’s fancy talk for sewage), and of course the politics of privilege. It was fascinating stuff; I’ve lived in Victoria a couple of times and had no idea of the interplay of power, race, money, and politics that informed the growth of that town.
Go see the exhibit. It’s pretty cool.
