I teamed up with Melanie Greenaway and Marjolaine Brabander at Double Dare Design for a huge project: a Visitor Experience Strategy and Visitor Centre Concept for Fort Battleford National Historic Site in Saskatchewan.
It was a challenging project involving multiple visits, including a site visit to Cut Knife Hill guided by historian Eric Tootoosis—an experience I will never forget.
Together with Parks Canada and representatives from eight regional First Nations, we worked out a plan to re-tell the history of the Fort, taking a new point of view on the stories of the Resistance of 1885.
