I have been an avid photographer since about the age of eight; first with a series of Kodak Instamatics, then with my dad's Minolta (whenever I could get my hands on it.) I bought my first SLR, a Canon AE1, after my first summer job and destroyed it shortly thereafter in an unfortunate incident involving a backpack and a bottle of Kahlua.
My passion for photography has been rekindled with the advent of the digital age; the wonder of Photoshop is the closest thing I've found to the thrill of watching my images materializing on paper in the darkroom.
A naturalist by trade, I tend to focus on wildlife and scenic imagery a fair bit, but my current passion is for portraiture and I hope to be expanding my portfolio in this direction for the next while.
